Boat part number 7104013 is a new 200 FT roll of heat shrink tubing from DX Electric, part number HST-12B-SP . Commonly used on Ranger Boats, part number 201600 , but may be used on other boats.

HST is a flexible cross-linked polyolefin tubing that has a 2:1 shrink ratio when heated. It is typically used as an electrical insulation over cable splices and terminations. HST may also be used as stress relief, wire marking, wire bundling, component packaging and fire-resistant wire harness covering. HST is split resistant, mechanically tough, easily marked and resistant to cold flow. HST is rated for continuous operation from -67°F (-55°C) to 275°F (135°C) and withstands elevated temperatures to 275°F (300°C) for short periods. Minimum shrink temperature is 212°F (100°C).

This heat shrink wrap is constructed out of black cross-linked polyolefin and measures approximately 200′ L overall. Before heat is applied, this tubing has an approximate 1/2″ ID.
